My forays into blogs up to this point have been angst-ridden and rarely updated. Remember livejournal? I was all over that in a bad way. Ditto for Xanga. I hope this one will be different. Given that its purpose is to chart my radio show Unknown Pleasures (which is broadcast live on CFRC 101.9 fm on Tuesdays from 2:30 to 4pm), it very well should be. I always make a point of NOT talking about my personal life on the airwaves, and if this is going to be a database-of-sorts I'd best be updating it at lease once a week. At least.

Seeing as I don't have the internet at my apartment, I'm parked at the Sleepless Goat where the internet is free and the coffee is tasty and not burnt. Check out Unknown Pleasures tomorrow at 2:30-- the first show of the year will include a look back at summer concerts (including the Wolfe Island Music Festival) and some of the music I've gotten into over my four-month absence.
